Ramona is the first dedicated residency in Texas for artist mothers and their families.

SUPPORT ARTIST MOTHERS

Our mission is to create unique and flexible opportunities for artist mothers to network, expand their artistic processes, and build community by providing essential support to balance motherhood with making. Half of our residency slots are dedicated to supporting BIPOC women.

Founded in 2024, through generous donations and stewardship, we launched Ramona and welcomed three artist mothers and their families including: Cassie Arnold from Denton, Megan Harrison from San Antonio and Beatriz Bellorin from Houston.

Please consider donating to support our current cohort of 8 artist mothers to participate in a fully funded artist residency at Ramona in 2025-2026. Each residency requires a $2500-3000 financial commitment per artist. Your donation is vital to our continued success and engagement in the Houston arts scene.

We are grateful to Fresh Arts for serving as our fiscal sponsor.
